Ranum is a Danish town with 1054 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2013 ) in the western Himmerlands. The village has been the municipal reform of 2007 part of the Vesthimmerlands commune in the North Jutland. Previously, she was part of Løgstør municipality in the Official North Jutland.
Ranum is located about 8 km south of Løgstør, just 15 km north of Farsø and about 20 km north-west Aars.
In the south of Ranum is the monastery Vitskøl. The Church in Ranum was built in 1909, the Twin Towers in 1931.
