Raphael Sobiehrd-Mnishovsky

Raphael Mischowsky de Sebuzina, even Raphael Mnischowsky, (* 1580 in Horsuv Tyn, Bohemia, † November 21, 1644 in Prague) was a Bohemian lawyer and poet.

Life

Mnischowský came from a noble family of Soběhrd. After receiving his doctorate in 1602 was Dr. iur. Raphael Mischowsky to about 1637, during the reigns of the respective emperor of the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation, primarily as a lawyer or a diplomat in imperial state services.

Thereafter, he devoted all his time to poetry, a hobby that should have accompanied him throughout his life.
