The Rarbach is a 8.3 km long, orographic right tributary of the hen in the North Rhine- Westphalian Hochsauerlandkreis ( Germany ).
Geography
The Rarbachquelle is located on the western edge of the Rimberges southeast of Oberrarbach at an altitude of 673 m above sea level. NN. From here, the creek flows mainly in northwestern direction through the villages Oberrarbach, Föckinghausen, Hanxleden, Kirchrarbach and Sögtrop before. 352 m above sea NN flows into the hen.
The Rarbach overcomes on its 8.3 km long path from the source to the mouth of a height difference of 312 m, corresponding to an average bed slope of 37.6 ‰. The creek drains a 13.887 km ² large catchment area about Henne, Ruhr and Rhine to the North Sea.
