Rasoul Khadem

Rasoul Khadem Azghadi (Persian رسول خادم, born February 17, 1972 in Mashhad ) is a former Iranian wrestler and current politician.

Rasoul Khadem Amir Reza Khadem and his brother were trained by their father Mohammad Khadem. In the 1992 Olympics he won the bronze medal in the 82 kg freestyle men. Four years later in Atlanta, he won in the 90 kg freestyle men's gold medal after he was already world champion in this discipline in 1994 and 1995. His last major success was a silver medal at the 1998 World Championships in Ringer Tehran.

Since 2003, Rasul Khadem sits on the city council of Tehran and is attributed to the political camp of Mayor Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.
