Rassemblement Wallonie France
The Rassemblement Wallonie France ( RWF) is a French-speaking Belgian political party, the Rassemblement Bruxelles Brussels section -France is called. The R.W.F. fights for the Rattachisme, that is, for the union of the majority francophone territories of Belgium, so the Walloon Region, the Brussels -Capital Region, as well as six facilities communities on the outskirts of Brussels, located in Flanders, but in which a majority French is spoken with France.
History
The party was founded on 27 November 1999 in Charleroi and has since been continuously led by its President, Paul-Henry Gendebien. The RWF grew out of a rapprochement between the Rassemblement Wallon (RW) of Andre Libert and the Alliance Démocratique Wallonne ( ADW ) ( founded in 1985 ), which was within the Parti Social Chrétien (PSC ) and the Mouvement Wallon pour le Retour à la France.
In the federal elections in 2003 the party ran as RWF RBF ever since as RWF. In the federal elections in 2007, she received 1.5 percent of the vote for the Senate and 1.2 percent for the chamber. In the regional elections of 2009, the RWF received 1.37 percent in Wallonia and in the European elections in 2009 0.43 per cent to overall Belgian level.
