Rasul Dzhukayev

Rassoul Magomedowitsch Dschukajew (Russian Расул Магомедович Джукаев; born August 11, 1984) is a Russian wrestler. He became in 2009 Vice World Champion in free style at lightweight.

Career

Rasul Dschukajew, the Chechen descent, began as a teenager in 1994 with the rings. He concentrated on the free style. He belongs to a sports club in Grozny and is trained by his father Magomed since the beginning of his career. He is a student of economics.

In 2001 he was in Izmir European Junior Champion ( Cadets ) in the weight class up to 63 kg. Then was seen only in the year 2007 again at an international wrestling mat when he came upon Dan Kolow & Nikoa Petrov Memorial in Sofia in lightweight Leonid Spiridonov of Kazakhstan behind the 2nd place. In 2008 he won then the main Russian wrestler tournament, Ivan Yarigin Memorial in Krasnoyarsk in the lightweight front of his countrymen Shamil Batirow and Saur Botajew. He was then also used in the 2008 European Championships in Tampere. He won there over Ljulzim Vrenezi, Macedonia, and then lost against Ramazan Sahin, Turkey and later won with victories over Yuri Poljak, Israel and Serafim Barzakow, Bulgaria is still a bronze medal. At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 was not he but the Russian 2008 champion Irbek Farnijew was used.

2009 then was Rasul Dschukajew before arsenic Mairow, Amir Berukow and Adam Batirow Russian champion at lightweight. The reward was to be used at the 2009 World Championships in Herning / Denmark. He won there over Jung Jung -ho, South Korea, Adam Sobieray, Poland, Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu, Japan and Sushil Kumar, India, and was thus in the final battle against Mehdi Taghavi Kermani of Iran. This fight he lost just after points and thus became vice - world champion.

Then he had a lot of injuries, so his career was more Ringer severely impaired. In 2011, he again won a bronze medal behind the brothers Adam and Mawlet Batirow in the Russian championship at lightweight. At the moment he heard the Russian national team no longer.
