Rational Software
The company Rational Software, founded in 1981, mainly engaged in system analysis and design and a variety of tools for this purpose developed and offered. Rational Software was bought in 2003 by IBM for $ 2.1 billion. The corporate and product names remained so far not received. In June 2007, IBM also has the company Telelogic, which operates in the same division, an offer submitted for adoption to further expand its market position.
