Rauschelesee

Rauschelesee ( Slow: Rjavško Jezero ) is a lake in Keutschacher Seental near the Keutschacher lake in the municipality Keutschach (Carinthia ). The lake is used for bathing and fishing.

The catchment area of ​​Rauschelesee is separated by a watershed from that of Keutschacher lake. Rauschelesee drained to the east, the Keutschacher lake north across the Reifnitzbach in the Wörthersee. The lake is elongated in the east-west direction and consists of two basins separated by a shallow sill. Inflow and outflow forms of Viktringerbach, the flowing from Baßgeigensee in the Rauschelesee and continues to flow out of it through the Treimischer ponds towards Glanfurt.

The lake has 10 species of fish, including pike, catfish, tench, carp and sunfish ( Lepomis gibbosus ).

The lake is part of the 2,532 -acre nature sanctuary Keutschacher Lake Valley ( Gazette No. 74/1970, 86/1971 ).
