Rauschwitz

Rauschwitz is a municipality in the Thuringian Saale- wood - country circuit and part of fulfilling community Eisenberg.

Geography

The community Rauschwitz located in the north of the county. Due to the local situation, the road L 1070, which connects Hermsdorf with Camburg runs.

Nearby villages are Karsdorfberg and Mertendorf in the north, Pretschwitz in the east, and Nischwitz Göritz mountain in the southwest and Schmörschwitz in the West. Around the village, far above the neighboring towns of time, are agricultural land.

History

Rauschwitz was first documented in 1230.

Rauschwitz and its districts were part of the feudal possession of the abbey Biirgel. The hall of the former village Wilkensdorf was divided between the municipalities and Döllschütz Rauschwitz.

Energy

In Rauschwitz there since 2003, three wind turbines namely two systems of type Nordex S77 with 1500 kW rated power, 100 m hub height and 77 m rotor diameter, and a plant of type GE 1.5 sl with 1500 kW rated power, 96 m hub height and 77 m rotor diameter.
