Raven Goodwin

Raven Goodwin (* June 24, 1992 in Washington, DC; native Raven Tyshanna Goodwin ) is an American actress.

Life and achievements

Goodwin is active since the age of four years as an actress. Her first movie role in the comedy Lovely & Amazing Nicole Holofcener from the year 2001. Embodying there, the African American adoptive daughter of Jane Marks ( Brenda Blethyn ), with Elizabeth (Emily Mortimer ) and Michelle ( Catherine Keener ) and two own daughters has. For this role she was nominated in 2003 for the Independent Spirit Award and for the Black Reel Award.

In the comedy film The Station Agent (2003) Goodwin appeared on the side of Peter Dinklage. She was nominated in 2004 along with several other cast for a Screen Actors Guild Award and the Phoenix Film Critics Society Award. In the comedy Phat Girlz (2006) she played Jazmin Biltmore, which was presented as adults from Mo'Nique, in their child years. In the film drama All About Us ( 2007) she played one of the major roles.
