The Ravi (Hindi: रावी, Ravi; Panjabi: ਰਾਵੀ; Urdu: راوی ) is a river in India and Pakistan. It is one of the five rivers that gave Punjab its name. The river is about 725 kilometers long.

The Ravi originates in the Himalayas in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh and flows to the northwest. He turns near the town of Chamba Chamba district in the southwest. Next, it flows a few kilometers on the border between Pakistan and India along before it comes into Pakistani territory. There the river flows into the Chanab. The largest city on Ravi Lahore.

The use of the waters of the Ravi is regulated between the two countries in the Indus Waters Treaty. India regulates the flow with dams, sometimes it is therefore in its lower course without water. The Ravi is dammed in the Ranjit Sagar dam to a reservoir.
