Ray Binger

Ray O. Binger ( born November 16, 1888 in Pickett, Wisconsin, † September 29, 1970 in Orange County, California ) was an American cinematographer and special effects artist who three times for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects ( Special Effects ) has been nominated.

Life

He began his career as a cameraman in Hollywood in 1924 with the feature film The Gold Fish. In 1934 he was the first Millions responsible for the special effects in Kid. In 1937, he was with other technicians in ... then the hurricane for the creation of a hurricane was responsible. In 1941, he was on The long road to Cardiff along with RT Layton and Thomas T. Moulton for an Oscar in the category of Special Effects nomination (now Best Visual Effects ). He received two additional nominations in 1943 for Giant Step and 1944 for The North Star. This was followed by movies like The Tramp from Texas, The Ten Commandments and in 1957 his most recent movie The flight to hell.
