Ray Stewart (athlete)

Raymond Stewart ( Raymond Douglas "Ray" Stewart, born March 18, 1965 in Kingston ) is a retired Jamaican sprinter.

Career

At the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles Stewart won with the Jamaican relay a silver medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay. In addition, he finished sixth in the controversial final of the 100-meter run.

In 1987, he moved at the IAAF World Championships in Rome in the 100 - meter race after the disqualification of Ben Johnson from the bronze to the silver medal in front and won with the Jamaican team in the 4 x 100 - meter relay bronze.
