Raymond Goethals
Raymond Goethals ( born October 7, 1921 in Brussels, † December 6, 2004 ) was a Belgian football coach. With ten major titles, of which he won most only in his later years, he is the most successful coach in his home country.
Career
Player
As a player he was from an early age, starting in 1933 when Daring Club de Bruxelles, a predecessor of today's club FC Brussels. From 1941-1949 he played here as a goalkeeper in the first team. Belgian coach
