Razorblade Suitcase is the second album by the English post - grunge band Bush. It was published in Germany in 1996.

History

Although Razorblade Suitcase not as good as the previous album sold Sixteen Stone, it increased in the U.S. album charts at number 1 in Germany it reached number 37 as highest chart position. The overall mood of the album is much darker than on the predecessor, making comparisons with the last Nirvana album In Utero has raised from the year 1993. So Bush could not tear it with their second album, to be compared to Nirvana.

  • All songs on the album were written by Gavin Rossdale.
  • The album was supposed to Ghost Medicine hot, but was then released for unknown reasons under the name Razorblade Suitcase.
  • The album contains three songs that were released as singles: Swallowed, the first single reached No. 7 in 1996 with their highest placing in the UK singles chart. The second single released in 1997 Greedy Fly peaked at # 22 in the UK singles chart. Cold Contagious was also released as a single, but did not succeed in the top 100 At all three singles were released much respected video. For Cold Contagious even two versions were shot, including a live version.
