RCA Dome

The RCA Dome was a complete indoor stadium in Indianapolis, which offered space for 57 890 spectators. It was the home stadium of the Indianapolis Colts.

On the football season 2008/ 09 towards the stadium by the Lucas Oil Stadium, a new building, in the center of Indianapolis, was replaced. The new stadium can hold up to 70,000 spectators, providing a worthy home for the Super Bowl winner of 2007. Sponsor Lucas Oil, a local manufacturer of motor oils, paid 120 million U.S. dollars for a twenty- year-long contract name.

After the completion of the Lucas Oil Stadium, RCA Dome was demolished on 20 December 2008.
