The Rødovre Mighty Bulls are a Danish ice hockey club from Rødovre, which was founded in 1961 and currently plays in the AL-Bank Ligaen.

History

The Rødovre Mighty Bulls, who were founded in 1961 under the name Rødovre SIK ( Rødovre Skøjte above Ishockey Club ) won the Danish championship in 1978. From the late 1970s to the early 1990s was Rødovre the strongest team in the Danish ice hockey and won four more league titles. In addition, they were four times runner-up in this period. The last great success reached the Mighty Bulls by winning the championship in the 1998 season / 99. Two years later, they failed to Herning Blue Fox. In the 2008 /09 season, the team reached the third place in the playoffs.
