Rødovre Municipality

Rødovre municipality is a Danish municipality in the Capital Region. The municipality is part of the Capital Region Hovedstadsområdet.

The Copenhagen suburb is 12.20 km ² compared to the population of 37 351 (as of 1 January 2013) is relatively small.

1999 Rødovre was one of the venues for the World Ice Hockey Championships in 1999. Suburb is the headquarters of the Danish supermarket chain Irma.
