Real Valladolid

Real Valladolid ( officially: Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol, SAD ) is a Spanish football club from Valladolid in Castile and León. It was founded in 1928. The first team currently plays in the Primera División, the second team in Group I Segunda División B.

History

The club was founded on June 20, 1928 by the merger of the clubs Real Unión Deportiva Club Deportivo Español, both from Valladolid. First President and leading figure in the merger was Pedro Zuloaga Mañueco. On the following September 22, the club played his first game; Opponent was Deportivo Alavés and won 2-1.
