Rebecca Gilmore

Rebecca ropes Manuel, born in Gilmore ( born June 13, 1979 in Sydney ) is a former Australian water jumper. She jumped at the 3- m- art - and 10 - m- high diving as well as in the 10 -meter synchronized diving. Their greatest success was winning a bronze medal at the Olympic Games.

Gilmore had her first international competition at senior level at the 1998 World Cup in Perth. With Phil Tosh was eighth in the 10 -meter synchronized diving. At the Commonwealth Games, they just missed a medal in platform diving. She took in 2000 at the Olympics in her hometown and won with Loudy Tourky bronze in the 10 -meter synchronized diving. From the 3 -meter board, they also reached the semi-final rank 17 and the 10 - m tower in the final ranking eleven. A year later, the duo Gilmore and Tourky reached fifth place at the World Championships in Barcelona. In 2002, Gilmore concluded an Economic studies at the University of Sydney. She took part in the Commonwealth Games and then ended her active career. Since 2005 she works at the club Perfect 10 Diving as a trainer.
