Rebecca Handke
Rebecca Handke ( born October 2, 1986 in Soest ) is a former German figure skater.
Biography
Handke competed for the SC Moehnesee as a pair skater with Daniel turnaround. The couple was initially supervised by Julia Gnilosoubowa, since the fall of 2004 by Knut Schubert. Handke / turn trained since then both in Dortmund and Berlin.
Since 1 July 2005, Handke Sports soldier of the Bundeswehr. In March 2006, she was operated on for bursitis of the knee.
After the 2006/2007 season parted Daniel Wende and Rebecca Handke. She trained after short-term ( until July 2007 ) with the Canadian Christopher Richardson. After the end of the season 2007/2008 Handke announced her retirement from competitive sport.
