Recoaro Terme

Recoaro Terme is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Vicenza in the Veneto region. The community is located about 30 kilometers northwest of Vicenza and directly borders the provinces of Trento and Verona. Recoaro located in the foothills of the Dolomites on the small mountain river Agno. The sources are used here for hydrotherapy.

History

1262 district Rovegliana is demonstrated. Since 1934, the municipality also carries the name part Terme. Since the 18th century the church is developed for tourism (especially Friedrich Nietzsche is here for his work " Thus Spoke Zarathustra " have been inspired ). During World War II the site was used as a base and command base for the German troops.

Recoaro Terme has partnerships with the Bavarian town of Neustadt an der Donau ( Germany ) and with the Argentine municipality of Colonia Carolina in the department of Goya.
