Red Army (disambiguation)

In general, the army of a communist state is called the Red Army. ( E) Not always is it is not however the official name of the army of the country often do (did) so that only expressed that it is attributable to the army of the political Left regime is ( e). The following is a list of previously existing Red armies ( in order of creation ):

  • The Red Army army of the Soviet Union.
  • The Red Army of the Bavarian Soviet Republic in Bavaria, which had been founded by the Communist Party during the Bavarian revolution;

  • The Red Army Faction (RAF ), a left -wing terrorist organization in the Federal Republic of Germany.
  • The Red Brigades ( Red Brigades ), an Italian terrorist organization that viewed itself as a communist urban guerilla.
  • The Red Ruhr Army of 1920 in the German Ruhr area.
  • The Japanese Red Army, a radical left-wing terrorist organization in Japan.
