Red Dwarf

Red Dwarf is a British science fiction series that ran from 1988 to 1999 and was produced by the BBC. In Red Dwarf the adventures of the technician third class Dave Lister to be told that was frozen for three million years and now along with a hologram, a slightly senile board computer and a form of life that has evolved from his cat, aboard the giant spaceship Red Dwarf the universe roams.

The hologram is Lister's former immediate superior Arnold Judas Rimmer ( technician second class ). Even in its lifetime both came from not another since Rimmer is extremely correct and uptight, while Lister pursues a sloppy work and live.

In this sci-fi series appear not aliens. Other types of life forms generally come from the earth and are due to ( failed ) genetic experiments. Means, there are so-called GELFs ( genetic engineered lifeforms ) on.

In the later seasons, there are also Kryten, a service robot, which thanks to Lister breaks through its programming and is a little more human. In Season 7 Rimmer leaves the crew and is replaced by Kristine Kochanski, played by Chloe Annett, but in Season 8 he returns.
