Redbridge Forest F.C.

Redbridge Forest ( officially: Redbridge Forest Football Club ) was an English football club based in Redbridge, London Borough of Redbridge, Greater London, which last in 1992 in the Football Conference, the fifth- highest division in England, played. The venue of the club was the 6000 courses comprehensive Victoria Road.

Club history

The club was formed in 1979 as the FC Leytonstone and Ilford FC merged to FC Leytonstone / Ilford. In the following ten seasons at the Isthmian League Operating League. The greatest successes were achieved in 1981 /82 and 1988/89 by winning the Isthmian League. In 1988, Walthamstow Avenue FC joined the Leytonstone / Ilford, a year later, the change of name of the association, which now participated as Redbridge Forest in the game mode. The 1989/90 season was finished on the 11th place in mid-table, in the following season, the team was able to earn a total of 93 points and won the championship of the Isthmian League and qualified for the Football Conference. With 63 meters and a placement in seventh relegation was assured without major problems. In 1992 Redbridge Forest went with the Dagenham a merger and joined together for the new club Dagenham & Redbridge.
