Redwood Shores, California

Redwood Shores is a neighborhood of the U.S. city of Redwood City.

Redwood Shores was built in the 1960s on padded marshland in the San Francisco Bay and consists mainly of residential areas. To the south is the small airport of San Carlos.

From the 1960s to the 1980s was Redwood Shores headquarters of the Marine World Africa USA, where, among other things, the exterior shots were filmed the television series Daktari. After Marine World moved to Vallejo in 1986, built the Oracle Corporation on the grounds their corporate headquarters.
