REEM

REEM -A and REEM -B are two humanoid robots that were developed by Pal Technology in 2006 and 2008, respectively.

REEM -A

REEM - A is the first developed by Pal Technology humanoid robot. He can like most humanoid robots move dynamic bipedal, dominated among others play chess. Its environment he perceives by means of a microphone, a stereo camera, six -axis force sensors, an acceleration sensor and a gyro instrument. He is recognizable objects and faces, and can communicate with people through language.

REEM -B

REEM -B is the second prototype, it can be as REEM -A moving dynamic bipedal and dominates among others play chess. He takes his environment as REEM -A true means of a microphone, a stereo camera, six -axis force sensors, an acceleration sensor and a gyro instrument, in addition, he has, however, still on an ultrasonic sensor and a laser scanner. This will allow him to cope with stairs and navigate in any building in the world, even as it created a kind of map of its environment. Like its predecessor, it can carry heavy loads, it can handle up to 12 kg.
