Regent International Hotels

Regent International Hotels ( Regent Hotels & Resorts) is an American hotel chain.

The company was founded in 1970 by Robert H. Burns jointly with the Japanese company Japan 's Tokyu Group. The company was until 2010 a subsidiary of Carlson Companies. It was sold to the Taiwanese hotel chain Formosa International Hotels 2010.

The company operates hotels in Asia, America and Europe.
