Regina on the steps is a mini-series of the ZDF, which is based on an eponymous novel by Utta Danella. The main role of Regina played Katja Riemann, for whom this role was the breakthrough invention.

The co-production of ZDF with the ORF was rotated 1989-90 under the direction of Bernd Fischer Auer. The script for the series wrote Barbara Piazza. The music is by Michael Rüggeberg. The German premiere took place in January to March 1992 and there were other ZDF broadcasts in the ORF and 3sat. 2007, the mini-series was released as a 3- disc DVD set.

Content

The 22 -year-old Regina 1955 comes illegally from Dresden to the West. In Munich she takes a room to sublet. Also, Martin Scholz, a former prisoner of war, must reorient themselves in Germany. By chance to learn both know. Soon after, the two find a job: Martin Roth at Lore in a gas station and Regina at the photographer Jacob Brunnhuber. There she is discovered for test shots of Janos. Regina is the model and learn much of the world know.
