Regis Philbin

Regis Francis Xavier Philbin ( born August 25, 1931 in New York City ) is an American television host. He's since the 1950s, in the business and is regarded as one of the most recognizable faces on American television. Among his most famous programs include Live with Regis and Kelly, Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? as well as the talent show America's Got Talent. Early life

Philbin grew up with his parents Frank and Florence Philbin on the New York City borough of the Bronx. His father was of Irish descent, while his mother was of Albanian descent. Although he has always been an only child, he was on 1 February 2007 that he had a brother, Frank M. Philbin. He died a few days earlier from a disease. Private life
