Regius Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics, Glasgow
The Regius Chair of Medicine and Therapeutics is a professor of medicine and pharmacology at the University of Glasgow, where the oldest professorship. It was formed in 1989 from the merger of Regius Professorships for practice of Medicine ( founded in 1637 ) and Materia Medica (founded in 1831).
