Regius Professor of Medicine (Oxford)

The Regius Professor of Medicine, is a Professor of Medicine at Oxford University, which was established by Henry VIII in 1546 ( simultaneously with the Regius professors of law, theology, Hebrew and Greek). Previously it was known as Regius Professor of Physic, according to the old English name for a doctor.
