Reha Kapsal

Rehabilitation Kapsal (* April 11, 1963 in Diyarbakır ) is a former Turkish football player and current coach.

Playing career

Rehabilitation Kapsal played in the 80s and 90s, along with various first and second division clubs.

Through his years of activity in Altay Izmir he is associated with this club. He is considered by both the fans as well as by the association as one of the greatest players in the club's history. With Altay he achieved in the 1983/84 season and in the 1990/91 season, the championship of the second Turkish league and thus promotion to the Süper Lig

In addition, he reached in 1995/96 with Zeytinburnuspor about the playoffs the second Turkish league indirect promotion to the 1st Turkish league.

In the season 1989/90 he moved to Turkish club Trabzonspor tradition. Here he failed the jump in the basic formation. So he left after one season and a league use the club and went back to his old club Altay.

In 1997 he joined as an amateur to amateur league club Malatya Belediyespor and ended his career here as an active player.

Coaching career

Following his playing career, he decided to start a coaching career. As his first role he took over in Altay Izmir the post of assistant coach. He then took over as head coach of the clubs in Marmaris Belediyespor and Manisaspor.

For the season, he took over Altay again the post of assistant coach. After the head coach was fired end of the season, he coached on an interim basis the team and made him a master of TFF 1 Lig direct promotion to the Süper Lig

The next season, he held Kayseri Erciyesspor again the post of assistant coach from.

In October 2003 he took over as head coach of the second division Ankaraspor. At season's end he managed with this club through the playoffs the TFF 1 Lig indirect promotion to the Süper Lig

For next season, he took over the first division MKE Ankaragucu. After a series of unsuccessful games he was released in December 2004 and replaced by Sakıp Özberk.

In April 2005, he was the coach of the Turkish U-21 national team. The coach of this office also manages the Olympic selection in Turkey, he took part in 2005 with the Olympic team at the Mediterranean Games and won the silver medal. In October 2006 he resigned from this office.

He then trained in sequence Karşıyaka SK, Manisaspor and again Karşıyaka SK.

Before the 14th matchday of the 2013/14 season he was hired as the new head coach at second division Şanlıurfaspor. End of February 2014 he gave here surprisingly announced his retirement.
