Geography
Geographical location
Reichenbach is located on the Great Heuberg, a plateau in the south of the Swabian Alb. The Lower Bara flows through the community. In addition, a small creek flowing source ( Reichenbach or Talbach called ) by the municipality and flows into the Bara.
Neighboring communities
The municipality is bordered to the north by Oberheim and on the east by Nusplingen, both in Zollernalbkreis, on the southeast by Egesheim, on the southwest by Bubsheim and to the northwest by Wehingen.

History
Reichenbach am Heuberg was first mentioned in the year 793. The village belonged to the county of Hohenberg. With this it came in 1391 leading to Austria, where it remained until it became part of Württemberg in 1805.
Reichenbach was from 1928 to 1966 as the terminus of Heuberg web.
This former farm has become an industrial and residential community.
