Reif Larsen

Reif Larsen ( born 1980 ) is an American author.

Life

Larsen studied Creative Writing at Columbia University, where he teaches today. While still a student, he wrote his first novel, " The Map of My Dreams " ( Original title: The Selected Works of TS Spivet ), the 2009 - appeared in 30 countries - by Publisher information. The book is about a twelve- year-old cartographer from Montana, the plot is enriched by extensive illustrations, maps and diagrams. In the U.S., many publishers competed for the rights to the book, which was to them an advance of $ 900,000 worth. Larsen also shot documentaries. The author lives in Brooklyn, New York.
