Reigandō

Reigando (Japanese霊 巌 洞, dt "ghost cave ") is a cave on the grounds of the Buddhist temple Unganzen -ji (云 巌 禅寺) in Kumamoto, Japan.

It is known that the samurai Miyamoto Musashi, as creator of the " two-sword style" Niten Ichiryu, the last few weeks spent there before his death. In that cave he wrote the Gorin no Sho ( The Book of Five Rings ), which he passed on 12 May 1645 his disciple Terao Magonojō. On June 13, 1645 Miyamoto Musashi died in the cave Reigando.
