Net since Curnera on German Curnerarhein, is a right tributary of the Anterior Rhine and one of the main sources of the Rhine ( cf. Rheinquelle ). It is fed from multiple sources and glacier runoff on the southern end of the valley of the Val Curnera through which it flows to the north. Net since Curnera is about eight kilometers long. Approximately in the middle of its range, the water on Lai is here dammed Curnera for the production of electricity to operate the power plants Anterior Rhine. In the lake also the clean Maighels, once a left-side tributary of the net flows da da Curnera. In Tschamut in Tujetsch the river Rhine flows into the front. Most of the water but is routed through penstocks to the power plant in Sedrun.
