Reiner Calmund (2002)

Reiner " Calli " Calmund (aka Reinhold Calmund; born November 23, 1948 in Brühl ) is a German football official, presenter and author.

Life

The skilled trade merchant and studied business administration, was first in the Rhine -Erft worked as a soccer player and after a serious injury as a youth coach ( SpVg Frechen 20, Franconia Lövenich and BC Efferen ).

Bayer Leverkusen

From 1974 to 1976 he worked under Fritz Pott as an assistant coach at the Association division SC Brühl, the climbers behind Leverkusen runners-up in the Middle Rhine in 1975 and reached to participate in the final round of the German Amateur Championship. From 1976 he worked at Bayer 04 Leverkusen at first as a youth leader and announcer until 1988 he was a board member. Activities from 2004

From 26 October 2004 to 4 January 2005, he hosted the show Big Boss - an adaptation of the U.S. show, The Apprentice with Donald Trump as a mentor - at RTL. Since November 2007 he has served as a jury member in the cooking show The cooking Arena on VOX.

On 25 April 2005 Calmund was elected to the Board of Fortuna Dusseldorf.

He was involved as an ambassador for the Football World Cup 2006, the people with disabilities in Germany. On 4 August 2007, he received in Wassenberg the "Golden Gourmet Duck " for his services to the cooking enjoyment.

Calmund was an honorary ambassador for the 2006 FIFA World Cup for North Rhine -Westphalia and "International EM Ambassador 2008, the city of Klagenfurt ."

From 1 February 2008 presented Calmund a video blog on his website Calli.tv in which he published his assessment of the respective Bundesliga Matchday well as other football events weekly. On the phone he told an imaginary interlocutor to run the football world. The site is now offline. Also since February 2008, he is on the advisory board of the Austrian football club Austria Kärnten.

On 15 June 2010 it was announced that Calmund was not acting as a consultant for Dynamo Dresden. He wanted there to "create clean, professional- structures ". The commitment to cost neither the city, which has a say in the club, still the club money.

Private

Since September 2003 Calmund is married for the third time. 2013 adopted Reiner and Sylvia Calmund the two-year Nisha. He also has five children and three grandchildren from his first two marriages.

Reiner Calmund lives in Saarlouis since 2012.

Trivia

  • Since on 10 May 2007 Calmund is also found as a virtual character in Second Life. He inhabited the island Calli Iceland, on which there are also a stadium and various other stages of his life next to the virtual image of his house.
  • As of summer 2008, Star TV reported one year from the Iron Calli action. This Calmund wanted to lose weight of 163 kg within a year thirty kilograms. He was trained there by Joey Kelly, also oversaw the Sports University in Cologne his health. Under this action Calmund graduated 17 May 2009 his first half-marathon in 3:56:07 hours. But he had already taken almost 30 kg. For his perseverance and the associated role model Calmund was honored in 2009 with the German Sports University in Cologne and Joey Kelly with the Health Media Award.
