Reiner Frieske

Reiner Frieske ( born October 11, 1940 in Lommatzsch ) is a former German handball goalkeeper.

The 1.84 meter tall Frieske played at ASK Vorwärts Berlin and after its relocation to Frankfurt / Oder at ASK Vorwärts Frankfurt. With his team, he was in 1964 GDR Champion.

The goalkeeper played in the national handball team of the German Democratic Republic (GDR). He stood in the squad of the German Handball Federation of DDR in the World Cup ( World Cup ) 1964, World Cup 1967, World Cup 1970 ( 2nd place ) and at the Olympics in 1972.
