Reinhold Beckmann

Reinhold Beckmann ( born February 23, 1956 in Twist rings ) is a German football commentator, television presenter and singer.

Life

Professional

After his graduation in Syke, stay in America and community service Beckmann did an apprenticeship as a radio, television and video technicians. He then studied in Cologne German, theater, film and television studies. The study he finished without a university degree.

He began his television career in 1980 as a freelancer at the WDR, for which he provided input for the program Current hour. He belonged to the television crew that accompanied Udo Lindenberg to his concert in the Palace of the Republic on 25 October 1983. In addition he has created later with Falko Korth documentation. From 1985, he also commented on sports broadcasts the WDR. He also hosted several entertainment programs for the NDR and together with Helge Schneider the shipment off- show at the WDR television.

For the ARD he moderated beyond the entertainment show Guinness - The Show of World Records, he has since 1999 - also in German - his own talk show Beckmann.

In 2008, he hosted the game show How German are you really? , Which was originally to be moderated by Jörg Pilawa who fell ill.

In the 2013 movie premiered his last race, he played himself, in his talk show Beckmann he had the Olympic champion Paul Averhoff (Dieter Hallervorden ) as a guest.

Private

Beckmann is Catholic, married and has two children with his wife (b. 1993 and 1997 ). The family lives in Hamburg. Beckmann, who was himself once footballing active and took up to two inserts in the Niedersachsen- selection, is a club member of FC St. Pauli. Reinhold Beckmann is committed to a number of social projects; he publicly supported the German Cancer Aid in their health policy concerns.

Beckmann founded in 1999 with friends in Hamburg launched the " nest eV ", which has since cares about young people in disadvantaged districts of Hamburg. Since 2005, Beckmann invites every year as the "Day of Legends" a. Criticism

In an episode of the talk show Beckmann, the moderator took along with Nina Ruge against Norbert Blum positions counted from sections of the German press as a very positive attitude towards the private insurance industry. Beckmann previously worked among others as a testimonial for the WWK Insurance Group from 2006.
