Reinhold Rehs

Reinhold deer ( born October 12, 1901 in Klinthenen, Circle Gerdauen; † December 4, 1971 in Kiel ) was a German politician (SPD, CDU from 1969 ) and a lawyer.

Life and career

Deer was the fourth child of Gertrud (b. Kantel ) (* March 18, 1873, † 30 July 1962) and the teacher Carl deer (* April 28, 1867; † October 2, 1945 in Königsberg ) ( " Father of the bees " ) born in East Prussia. He had six sisters. He studied after graduating from the Königsberg Collegium Fridericianum law in Königsberg and Heidelberg. During his studies, he became in 1920 a member of the fraternity Gothia Königsberg. 1923/24, he worked as an editor and from 1925 to 1928 as an assistant judge in Olsztyn. In 1928 he settled as a lawyer in Konigsberg. Between 1931 and 1933 he was a member of the Stahlhelm. In 1939 he was drafted into the air-raid warning service of the Luftwaffe. In 1944 he became head of the air-raid warning command Gdansk. Wounded at Danzig in 1945, he came after the Second World War to Schleswig -Holstein. In August 1945, he was legal adviser at the State Employment Office in Kiel. He married Clara Asta deer (born Schultz- Gora ) (*, ? † December 5, 1980 in Stuttgart) and Karin deer.

Party

On May 1, 1937 deer of the NSDAP joined. On January 25, 1944 him his " political stance [ as ] perfect" has been certified. After the Second World War he worked as a Member of the SPD, but resigned on May 13, 1969 for Willy Brandt's Ostpolitik to the CDU.

Member of Parliament

Deer was from 1950 until December 28, 1953 Landtag of Schleswig- Holstein, where he represented the constituency of Kiel -south.

He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1953 to 1969. From 1962 until his faction change to the CDU, he was Chairman of the Working Group expellees of the SPD parliamentary fraction. From December 11, 1955 to July 3, 1957, he was Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Investigation Committee " Case Otto John ." From 1957 to 1961 he was Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for expellees, then up to the June 3, 1969 its chairman.

Displaced labor

Deer was co-founder of the " East Prussian aid community ", the later circle group keel of the homeland of East Prussia, which he chaired for ten years.
