Reinmar von Zweter
Reinmar of Zweter (* around 1200, probably in Zeutern, today Ubstadt -Weiher in Baden- Württemberg; † after 1248 ) was a German proverbs and probably chivalrous origin of the family of the Lords of Zeutern.
Life
Reinmar of Zweter claims to be ( award No. 150) " Born on the Rhine and raised in Austria ." He began his poetic career around 1227 ( award No. 125) in Austria. The core of the traditional plant Reinmar of Zweter are a religious Leichhardt and the sayings in the so-called women - honor - sound, which especially in the manuscripts C ( Große Heidelberger or Manessische Liederhandschrift, cod pal Gmc 848, .. Earlier Parisian songs handwriting) and D (Heidelberg, cod. pal. germanisches 350) have survived.
Manuscript C contains the above Leichhardt and 219 sayings of which 217 are in Ehrenton; Handwriting D 215 awards. Since 139 sayings are double handed, provide C and D together 239 sayings.
Besides these two for Reinmar lore principal manuscripts other works of the poet have been handed down in about 30 manuscripts and fragments. Overall, the research has so over the corpse and about 260 Sang sayings, seems assured for the Reinmar authorship; at 22 surviving under Reinmar name stanzas, this is debatable, 27 verses are regarded as spurious.
