Reinoldijus Å arkinas

Reinoldijus Šarkinas (* July 16, 1946 ) is a Lithuanian economist, former central bankers, politicians, Lithuanian Minister of Finance.

Life

1968 graduated Šarkinas the diploma degree in economics and earned the discipline of ergonomics. From 1968 to 1972 he worked at the chemical plant " Spindulys " in Vilnius as an engineer from 1980 to 1982 as a financial advisor to the Ministry of Education of Cuba from 1991 to 1995 as Deputy Minister of Finance of Lithuania, 1995-1996 Minister of Finance and from 1996 to 2011 as the Chief Executive Officer of Lietuvos bankas. His successor is a lawyer Vitas Vasiliauskas (* 1973).
