Reintroduction

Under reintroduction or Ausgewöhnung is the process, animals that have lived in captivity again gradually get used to a life in the wild, with a view to permanent settlement and self- reproduction.

In animals that were born in zoos or wildlife parks, which usually happens to safeguard certain species from extinction or to restore the original biodiversity. Mammals and birds are significantly larger extent than you thought they were just a decade or two, dependent on learning from parents or other experienced animals. In addition to learning certain food sources for identifying danger and enemies ( predators ) is important. Because certain animals form traditions, even those the zoo animals have to be taught. The best example is the learning of certain migration routes of some migratory birds like geese birds or bald ibis.
