History

Reischach is certified as a church and vicarage already 930. In the general office organization in the 13th century was the " Official Reischach ". Reischach was in the course of administrative reform in Bavaria in 1818 an independent municipality. On January 1, 1967 parts of the formerly independent municipality harrows were incorporated to Reischach. On 1 July 1971, the incorporation of the formerly independent municipality Arbing was. St. Martin

The Catholic parish church of St. Martin is a late Gothic structure whose nave dates from the 14th and the presbytery from the 15th century. The old tower had to be canceled in 1865 because of the danger of collapse. 1899, the church was extended by about a third to the west, while she also received her 52-meter high tower.
