History
Reischach is certified as a church and vicarage already 930. In the general office organization in the 13th century was the " Official Reischach ". Reischach was in the course of administrative reform in Bavaria in 1818 an independent municipality. On January 1, 1967 parts of the formerly independent municipality harrows were incorporated to Reischach. On 1 July 1971, the incorporation of the formerly independent municipality Arbing was. The municipality was formed in 1978 Reischach together with the neighboring communities Erlbach Perach and administrative matters. The administrative headquarters are Reischach. Reischach includes the tax districts Endlkirchen, Erlbach, Reischach, Reisch Bach and Perach.
Development of the urban area
Incorporations
As part of the general municipal territorial reform in 1967 a part of the dissolved municipality Eggen, who had 73 inhabitants, incorporated into the municipality Reischach. Four years later, in 1971, followed by the incorporation of the entire community Arbing with 583 inhabitants.

St. Martin
The Catholic parish church of St. Martin is a late Gothic structure whose nave dates from the 14th and the presbytery from the 15th century. The old tower had to be canceled in 1865 because of the danger of collapse. 1899, the church was extended by about a third to the west, while she also received her 52-meter high tower. St. Anton
The pilgrimage church of St. Anthony of Padua in Reischach is a baroque central with an egg-shaped floor plan. It was built from 1695 to 1699 according to the plans of the Neuöttinger city architect Mathias Weidt Inger. The altarpiece of Karl Keller from 1862 shows St.. Anthony of Padua with the Child Jesus.
Mary and Anthony Chapel
The Brünnlkapelle of 1731 replaced a dilapidated wooden predecessor. Here, the now dried up healing water was directed into the interior of a previously external source version.
