Reith bei Seefeld

Reith bei Seefeld is a municipality with 1256 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the district of Innsbruck Land in Tirol ( Austria ). The municipality is located in the judicial district of Innsbruck.

Geography

It lies at the foot of the 2374 meter high Reither Spitze on the southern edge of the Seefeld plateau above the Inn Valley, from where a road leads connection via the Zirler mountain into the Inn Valley.

History

The going back to the High Middle Ages name refers to a clearing land, the name means something like " felled place".
