Reitoru or Te Pirehi is an uninhabited atoll of the Tuamotu Archipelago in French Polynesia. The next Hikueru Atoll is 50 km south-west. The lagoon of the atoll has no access to the sea. Reitoru belongs to the municipality Hikueru.

Reitoru was discovered by Louis Antoine de Bougainville in 1768. James Cook has also visited the island and gave it the name "Bird Iceland " because the only inhabitants were birds.

In 1903, the island, just as the neighboring atolls, devastated by a tropical cyclone.

In the 19th and 20th centuries Reitoru was an important atoll in the Polynesian pearl culture.

Only occasionally visited by fishermen and for harvesting and processing of coconuts into copra.
