Relative dating

A relative chronology in archeology, the knowledge of the relative sequence of findings, findings or events, such as can be derived for example from a stratigraphy or chorology. The reference to a relative chronology with other methods on our calendar leads to an absolute chronology. The " relative chronology " answers the question, if a certain object is older or younger than other objects.
