Remarkable Gardens of France

Jardin remarquable ( German, remarkable garden ') is awarded an award for gardens, by the Comité des Parcs et Jardins de France ( Committee of Parks and Gardens of France ) in France.

2003, the Conseil national des Parcs et Jardins began, a newly established institution of the Ministry of Culture, with the award of the gardens. Both public and private gardens can purchase these. Is awarded the title for a period of five years after the proposal of regional cultural institutions. June 30, 2012, there were 379 throughout France Jardins remarquables.
