Remaugies

Remaugies ( Picard: Èrmeugie ) is a northern French village with 120 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) by the Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is located in the arrondissement of Montdidier, is part of the Communauté de communes du canton de Montdidier, in the canton Montdidier.

Geography

The municipality is located in countryside 7.5 km east-southeast of Santerre Montdidier at the department D68 road and on the border of the Somme to the Oise. To Remaugies include Homesteads Houssoy and Ferme du Chalet.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
